Dear Librarian and Information Professional,
We at EBSCO Publishing are very much aware of the requirement to keep up-to-date with resources available in your library and ensure your patrons take full advantage of the database content. To assist with this, we are offering a series of Online Training Sessions scheduled for 9th, 13th, and 15th December – registration details follow below.
Nicola Giles, our Implementation Specialist, will be hosting the sessions which will run for an hour each. Two sessions will be on the EBSCOhost Platform (with the second session being a repeat of the first); and one session on marketing/promoting your Library databases.
EBSCOhost training will cover platform features and functionality – and include information on recent enhancements that were made to EBSCOhost.
In addition, you will have the chance to see what new features we are hoping to make available soon!
The ‘Best Practice’ marketing session provides hints and tips on how to promote your library’s electronic resources so that you optimise your return on investment!
All training sessions will provide the opportunity for you to provide feedback and suggestions.
We hope you, your colleagues and faculty can participate in one or more of the sessions!
Best wishes,
EBSCO Publishing
P.S. Unable to participate in this series of training sessions? We offer online training sessions covering a variety of resources and topics each month. The latest training newsletter is attached and you can also sign up to this at: http://support.ebsco.com/training/ANZSignup.php Feel free to participate in any of the sessions of interest or contact us to setup a specialized online training session.
