Program Ilmu Mengubah Destini 2011 PTAR
Program Ilmu Mengubah Destini anjuran Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak UiTM Shah Alam, bersama Perpustakaan Kampus UiTM Segamat dan Bahagian Teknologi Pendidikan, Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia merupakan salah satu aktiviti yang menyokong kepada Program Mengubah Destini Anak Bangsa UiTM. Sehubungan dengan itu, Majlis Perasmian Pusat Sumber Sekolah sempena Program Ilmu Mengubah Destini 2011 ini akan diadakan di SMK Pasir Gudang, Johor pada hari Ahad bersamaan dengan 3 April 2011. Majlis Perasmian ini akan dirasmikan oleh Menteri Pengajian Tinggi, YB Dato' Seri Hj. Mohamed Khaled Nordin.

Masalah Akses PDDT : IIMP
Assalammualaikum & Salam Sejahtera,Tuan/Puan,
Susulan dari masalah mengakses Pangkalan data International Index to Music Periodicals melalui EZAccess yang dilaporkan oleh Pustakawan INTEC :- En. Hazrul Amir Tomyang pada 17 Februari 2011. Pihak JPJPD telah melaporkan masalah ini sebaik ianya dilaporkan kepada pihak teknikal Proquest Chicago. Hasil dari tindakan susulan pihak JPJPD dari masa ke semasa bersama pihak Unit Web JPSTM, masalah ini telah dapat diatasi.
Untuk makluman, akses telah kembali pulih seperti biasa..

Inspec Direct Scheduled Maintenance - 27th-28th February and 5th-6th March
Dear Customers,We are planning some scheduled maintenance on Sunday 27th February 2011 and over the weekend Saturday 5th March to Sunday 6th March 2011, when some major work is being carried out on the Inspec Direct servers.
On Sunday 27th February 2011, the deployment is set to start at 21:30 GMT and Inspec Direct will be completely unavailable for the next four and a half hours (i.e. until 02:00 GMT on Monday 28th February).
During the weekend of 5th/6th March, the availability of Inspec Direct is likely to be intermittent.

Q: How can I see a journal's Impact Factors for the most highly cited articles? Example: After identifying an article relating to "influenza" and "H1N1", you can examine the five-year Impact Factor trend to understand the journal performance metrics by linking from the Web of Science to Journal Citation Reports. Here are the steps to follow: Step 1Go to Web of Science (http://isiknowledge.com/wos). Enter "Influenza" AND "H1N1" under search field Topic. Click Search button. There are many articles. Sort by "Times Cited" and click the title of any top 10 articles to go into Full Record view.  Step 3 In the Full Record view, in the right navigation bar under Additional Information, click “View the journal’s impact factor (in Journal Citation Reports)”.  Step 4 The most recent 5-year Impact Factors will be shown. By clicking “Return to Journal”, users can examine other journal performance metrics such as Immediacy Index, Cited Half-life, Journal Ranking, etc (what do these terms mean?)   Try it now - log on to Web of Science. |
